  101. Standard mouse sequences:

  104.   Holding down the left button and pushing the mouse off the bottom or
  105.   top edges of the window scrolls the display. While the left button is
  106.   still down, clicking the right button brings the cursor back to its
  107.   original cursor position and stops scrolling.

  109.   Double-clicking the left button marks the start of a selection block.
  110.  
  111.   Double-clicking the middle button marks the start of a veritcal
  112. selection
  113.   block.

  115.   Holding down the left button and clicking the middle button creates a
  116. fold.

  265. This file presents changes or enhancements made to TurboText after the
  266. documentation was printed. It also contains any outstanding bugs found in
  267. this release of the product.

  270. Bugs and corrections
  271. --------------------
  272. The manual mentions a set of macros to interface TurboText to AmigaTeX.
  273. These macros are not included with this release of TurboText.
  274.

  276. Documentation Changes
  277. ---------------------
  278. A few features were added after the TurboText manual was printed. This
  279. section outlines these changes.
  280.  
  281. The MarkBlk command now has a TOGGLEVERTICAL/S option that toggles the
  282. current selection block from normal to vertical and back. This option can
  283. be handy when bound to a mouse button.
  284.  
  285. The GetCursorPos command now returns an extra value. The value specifies
  286. the character number on which the cursor is sitting without performing
  287. tab expansion.
  288.  
  289. The ExecTool command now has a SCREEN/S option that causes the public
  290. screen name on which the document window is opened to be inserted in the
  291. command-line passed to the tool. Under AmigaDOS 1.3, the screen title is
  292. inserted instead.

  294. The GetScreenInfo command now returns an extra value. The value specifies
  295. the public screen name on which the document window is opened. Under
  296. AmigaDOS 1.3, the title of the screen is returned instead.

  298. The requester that is optionally opened when the editor is about to do an
  299. auto-save operation no longer accepts keyboard shortcuts. Since this
  300. requester can appear at any time during an editing session, keystrokes
  301. meant for the document would often be grabbed and acted upon by the
  302. requester.

  304. The DEL key is a keyboard shortcut for the trashcan in the file
  305. requester.
  306.  
  307. Under AmigaDOS 2.0, the TurboText: assignment is performed automatically
  308. upon program startup if it is not already present in the system. The
  309. assignment is made to the directory where the TurboText program is
  310. located.
  311.  
  312. The manual states that TurboText does not support general checkmarked
  313. menu items. This is not true as TTX fully supports checkmarked menu
  314. items.
  315.  
  316. Unavailable menu selections are always ghosted by TurboText making it
  317. impossible to select them by mistake.
  318.  
  319. Certain operations cause TurboText to change the appearance of the mouse
  320. pointer. In particular when marking a block the pointer changes to four
  321. arrows pointing in opposite directions to denote the marking process.
  322. When recording a macro, the pointer is changed to a tape cassette. When
  323. loading, saving, or searching, the pointer is changed to a clock to
  324. indicate the program is busy working.

  327. Additional considerations
  328. -------------------------
  329. All text files on this disk assume a tab width of 8. It you find any of
  330. these files are formatted strangely, be sure to check that the Tab Width
  331. gadget in the Edit Prefs requester is set to 8.
